Mark Chesler Associate |
Mark Chesler Mark Chesler is a scholar-activist who conducts research and consults on organizational changes related to challenging discrimination and oppression. He has worked on these issues with a variety of colleges and universities, corporations, local and national governmental agencies, and local community non-profit organizations. He has provided leadership in short-term training programs in multicultural competency development, longer-term organizational change efforts, and the development of Intergroup Dialogue Programs in higher education and in the corporate sector.
Mark also conducts research and works nationally and internationally as an advocate and organizer on the improvement of psychosocial care for children with cancer and their families and the development of family support and advocacy groups. He is Professor Emeritus of Sociology at the University of Michigan and Executive Director of Community Resources ltd., both of Ann Arbor, MI.
