Nancy Brown-Jamison Associate

Nancy Brown-Jamison brings 38 years of experience in working consciously on race, gender, and sexual orientation issues in herself and in client organizations. As a White, heterosexual, U.S.-born woman, she often finds herself in the majority, and uses her majority group status to surface and challenge assumptions and patterns connected to these and other dimensions of difference.

Nancy has worked as a marketing manager and internal organization effectiveness consultant for Procter & Gamble, and is currently an independent resource focused on organization design and strategic use of diversity. Clients have included Apple Computer, Corning, Cummins, Clorox, Hewlett Packard, and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. She has served as adjunct faculty or guest lecturer at American University, Purdue University, and the University of Cincinnati.

In her work with White Men as Full Diversity Partners, Nancy enjoys challenging herself and others to continue learning and applying that learning in "real life." Through experience and reflection, she continues to discover, and then work to eliminate, racist, sexist, or heterosexist assumption/behaviors of which she was previously unaware.
