OUR FOCUS: LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

When insiders at the leadership level help champion inclusion efforts in their companies, those efforts are more successful. We work with company leaders to establish conversations that they haven’t had before. By creating a stimulating and challenging environment, we help people examine hidden mindsets and assumptions and develop their ability to lead and manage effectively.

We define an INSIDER as a leader who is a member of the group that, through the simple coincidence of where they came from and whom they were born to, gets to set the organisation’s norms and rules for how things get done. INSIDERS often don’t realise they set the rules or that others are on the outside. FDP Global helps leaders see the impact of the water they swim in, both on themselves and their outsider colleagues.

LEARNING ABOUT YOUR CULTURE

We begin any engagement by learning about issues your company is experiencing and who will be in the room in terms of languages, culture, presenting issues and relationships. We often work with local partners who understand the geographical insider culture and language nuances. We then perform data collection of relevant issues in that region of the world so we can use local examples during delivery.

Our consultants are experts in engaging people in a series of courageous conversations that have value to the the client.

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING PROGRAMS

FDP Global creates experiences that engage the heart and head by helping leaders understand how it feels to be in someone else’s shoes, as well as recognise the unseen culture that is already around them. These experiences help to shift behaviour on a personal and professional level and help insiders see and understand unconscious bias and blind spots.

An immersive 3.5-day residential program for participants to work across differences and develop partnership skills that impact organisational change.

A 1.5-day program for leaders to develop insights and skills to lead with courageous intent and set the example for fully inclusive company cultures.

 

All In: Partners in Gender Equity

A 1.5-day program for men to learn how to work across gender difference to create a culture of inclusion where all women feel valued, respected and engaged.

ALL IN: INCLUSIVE LEADERS FOR GENDER EQUITY

This workshop, which spans two half-days, gives men, in partnership with women, a place to ask questions, learn from each other, challenge outdated thinking and find actionable steps to help them stand up as courageous role models for inclusion.

Leaders will:

» Learn how to better partner across gender to create a culture of inclusion where all women (and men) feel valued, respected and engaged.

» Explore how gender bias is experienced in the work environment.

» Better understand dominant business culture and its impact on leadership behavior and partnership with women.

» Learn the Eight Critical Leadership Skills to lead more effectively and partner across gender.

» Practice the skills needed to initiate and engage in courageous conversations about diversity issues.

» Identify a personal commitment and peer accountability goal to move forward.
